The Happy Days of Cars

September 23, 2008

Classic CarsWhen you’re in Branson, be sure to take a nostalgic trip down memory lane with a visit to ’57 Heaven. With more than 30,000 square feet of show space, this is the largest museum of its kind and features sparkling automobiles from 1957. How cool it must have been to cruise down the road in one of these beauties. The museum is a great way to introduce the kids to the simpler life before SUVs and iPods. It shows off Buicks, DeSotos, Cadillacs, Packards, Studebakers and more. Don’t miss the Small Town America exhibit that takes you back to classic scenes of the 1950s with a fire station, service station, barbershop and a drive-in movie. There’s also plenty of other authentic memorabilia including everything from pink toasters to 3-cent stamps.

Adult Admission is $25.23; children 11 and under are free.
